ABOUT US
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

The Great Commission is the compelling command behind our desire to make disciples. We are a family of six from Texas who love Jesus and for reasons known only to him are called to this amazing ministry.

We have been appointed by our agency Crossworld to serve as disciple-makers to foster the growth of the church in South Africa. Partnering with the International College of Bible and Missions as IT manager (as well as other roles) Mark will help prepare pastors and lay-leaders for the work God has for them through all of southern Africa. There are plenty of opportunities to disciple new believers as well as reach out to the un-churched in southern Africa.
You can play a huge role in this ministry as you support us in prayer. Please pray for us often and seek God regarding becoming a monthly partner in our ministry.
The Qualls
Family
Mark worked for LifeWay Christian Stores for 17 years when God called us to missions. He has a passion for discipling others and wants to see the Gospel magnified. He also loves family strategy board games.
Carrie homeschools our four children Clara (16), Adele (14), Brendan (11) and Nora (9). She enjoys reading, teaching and mentoring young women.
Clara is a natural artist and loves animals of all types, especially horses.
Adele's favorite things are her cats. She enjoys reading as much as Carrie and makes beautiful miniature figurines.
Brendan loves to learn coding and is learning how to develop websites.
...and Nora... Well, Nora is an energetic happy girl who loves to play with legos, dolls, dress up clothes, and plastic animals.
WHY JOHANNESBURG?
The Gospel is needed everywhere in the world, and at ICBM we can help prepare church leaders to reach the unreached throughout southern Africa.
OUR VISION
We long to bring God's love to life in the least reached areas of the world through discipleship.
HOW DO WE DISCIPLE?
There’s nothing magical about the method. You might even call it ordinary. Just be who God made you to be and do what Jesus tasked you to do. The result? The world’s least-reached marketplaces will never be the same. And that’s extraordinary.
Making Disciples: The Discipling Tree
Let me just say it up front: There is no disciple-making process that works for every profession, from Wall Street to Walmart and beyond. I don’t have a blueprint for disciple-making to sell you. But I think I have something better: some of the core elements of effective disciple-making.
